Multi-document PDFs are separated into single documents, dated and classified. The same document scanned into several folders is recognised as one. The date is taken from the content of the document, not from the file.

SALVERN reads Active Directory and reproduces your department structure. A user without access does not see results marked “no permission”. They see a system in which those documents do not exist.

There is no model being trained, and no mechanism that would allow it.

How the first visit works

A call, then a slice of your archive.
You pick it: one department, one year, closed matters. Two or three hundred documents is enough to show you the state of the whole thing.

One afternoon, in your office.
I come in with a laptop and we index the slice on it, offline, in the room with you. Nothing is installed on your systems and nothing leaves the building.

You search it the same day.
Before I leave you are searching your own documents. If it does not do what I said it would, that is the end of it and the afternoon is all it cost you.

Professional secrecy
Processing happens at your office.
On the laptop I bring with me for the first visit, and afterwards on a server you own.
No outbound connection.
While it is working, SALVERN makes no network request outside your network. Your own IT can watch the traffic and confirm it.
Nothing is used for training.
There is no model being trained.
An NDA and a data processing agreement before anything begins.
At the end the index stays with you, and we take nothing.

First deployments: late 2026 / Q1 2027.
We are taking a limited number of firms into the first deployments. The limit is not a sales device: in the first year I run every deployment myself. Early clients have direct influence over what gets built.
After the first visit, SALVERN runs on a server you own. You buy it from your usual supplier, with their warranty and their on-site service, so the hardware your archive sits on is never something you have to get from me. I tell you what it needs and I install on it.
Price depends on the number of users and the size of the archive. A figure printed here would be a guess about your archive, so we work it out on the call instead.

Tomasz Kozakiewicz
I write the software and I run the deployments. SALVERN is not resold through anyone, so the person who turns up at your office is me. I build document and data systems for a living, and I currently work on public-sector IT in Warsaw, where the rules about what may leave a building are not negotiable.
